Phone photos work. Use the original from your camera roll, not a screenshot or a photo saved from social media. Those come through much smaller than they look. Pick a shot where your pet fills most of the frame. Pinch or drag in the designer to place them.
If the designer flags a photo: it is measuring pixels against the space it has to fill. It is not judging your photo. Use the largest original you have, then check the preview at full size. If it looks sharp there, it will print well.

How do I put my dog's photo on the mug?
Click "Make Mine", upload a photo from your phone or computer, and the editor shows you the mug with your pet on it. You can adjust the placement and see the finished design before you pay.
Is this mug dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes to both. The print keeps its color and shine through microwave use and dishwasher cycles.
How big is the mug and how much does it hold?
It is an 11oz ceramic mug, 96mm tall with an 80mm bottom diameter. That is a standard coffee mug size, so it fits under most brewers.
What photo quality do I need for a good print?
Use the sharpest photo you have, ideally one where your pet's face fills a good part of the frame and is well lit. Screenshots and heavily zoomed crops tend to look soft once printed.
